Why Imbue Exists

My skin started changing a few years ago, somewhere in perimenopause. It got drier, itchier, and my legs and arms had a crepey texture that hadn't been there before. I did what most of us do — bought a heavier moisturiser and waited for it to work. Then I tried oils. Expensive ones, too.

It didn't work. Not because I wasn't trying hard enough. Because the problem was never the product — it was something happening underneath it.

Something I learnt through my research: as your body moves through perimenopause and menopause, your skin's ability to hold onto moisture changes too. That's not something a heavier cream fixes — it's something that needs to be worked with, not around.

I looked for body care that understood this. I couldn't find it. So I'm building it myself.

Imbue is body care designed specifically for the skin changes of midlife — held to the same rigour as good skincare, and the same standards of a beauty product you actually want on your shelf.

This isn't anti-ageing. It's not about turning back time. It's about skin going through something real, getting something that actually works for it — and looking better because of that, not despite it.

I'm building Imbue slowly and properly: real formulation, real evidence, real testing. No shortcuts, no vague promises.
